Lightning is best in wind and rain in Eskilstuna

2019 28/5 Tommy Blixt not only won the B class, but was also the best on the "Raka listan", this windy and rainy round of the MSV Cup, which was seriously delayed and difficult to play with many rain interruptions.

According to a reliable source, there was a good atmosphere among the competitors when the third round of the Middle Swedish Cup started in Eskilstuna, despite the weather not being the best. And despite the wind and rain, well-fed and tasty hamburgers were grilled on the spot, a tradition that was not renounced even on a day like this. An appreciated feature!

In the A-class it was Rikard Lindqvist / Enköpings BGK who won with, under the circumstances, a nice 74 shots (40-34) and ended up second on both the "straight list" and the series table! The runner-up Robin Andersson / Mosås BGK went on 77 shots (42+35) and he thereby consolidates his lead in the series table. Johan Carlsson / Haga BGK claimed a third place with 81 strokes (44+37) and thus places himself in third place in the league table after today's competition.
